Abstract: The project Gamma ray spectrometry upgrade (GRS) is part of the project of enhancememnts for the diagnostics of fusion plasmas et JET, in the frame of the FP7 program. The National Institute of Physics and Nuclear Engineering (NIPNE), Magurele, Romania, participates to this project in collaboration with ENEA (Italian National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and the Environment)-Departamentul de Fuziune Frascatti, IST (Instituto Superior Technico Lisboa, and JET, in the grame of the project JW6-PM-EP2-GRS. NIPNE participates to this project in work package WP4, entitled Detector tests in high neutron / gamma flux conditions.
