Abstract: The study of optical phenomena, design of optoelectronic instruments are being fruitful ways for research, development and innovation. Simultaneous generation of at least two entangled photons, the study of their properties are activities producing fundamental consequences in the quantum optics theory and promising marvelous applications in cryptography, telecommunications, optoelectronic instruments. The increasing number of laboratories and larger and larger interest of these research fields, the existence of different theoretical models suggest the larger and increasing number of applied research activities. Within some optical active media, entangled photons are spontaneously generated by Spontaneous Down Conversion Phenomenon (SPDC), when the crystal is exposed to a laser beam. A Romanian research team has published a new model for the SPDC – phenomenon based on a spontaneous decay of the pump (p) photons supplied by a laser into entangled photons signal (s) and idler (i); there is the transition processes of any of the entangled photons into its twin, two. More than that, they have proved the real physical existence of these transitions. The quantum mirror notion is naturally introduced; empirical results of the ghost imaging experiment are explained based on energy and momentum conservation laws. The entangled photon generation within other optical active media is foreseen. By this proposal we offer: a conceptual model elaboration, gathering of the partnership technical support for experimental research of the entangled photon, training with implied technical procedures, design and manufacture of experimental models for miniaturized quantum SPDC mirrors, their study both to verify some theoretical predictions and to determine the technical characteristics useful for future quantum optical instruments.
